Twitter users on Monday compared Miss Universe Thailand Amanda Obdam with Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray for the resemblance of their gowns.

During the Top 10 round, the 27-year-old beauty from Thailand, walked her blue long-sleeved evening gown.

Miss Universe Thailand said it was inspired by the crystal-clear waves of the ocean.

“Oceanic vibes, crystalistic waves. Into blissfulness she dives,” it captioned its Facebook post.

Twitter users likened it to the gown worn by Catriona during her farewell walk in 2019.

Catriona then donned a Philippine eagle-inspired gown made by Filipino designer Mak Tumang.

Pageant fans posted side-by-side photos of Amanda and Catriona to show the resemblance of their respective blue-colored gowns.

Some said the standards set by Catriona still influence current Miss Universe candidates.

Some Twitter users also likened Amanda’s walk with Catriona’s iconic lava walk.

In a tweet, Catriona praised the evening gowns of the candidates as well as the performance of more than 70 beauties at the pageant.

“I swear the styling of evening gown portion gets better every year! The hair, the dresses the accessoriesthe craftsmanship! Ahhh #MissUniverse,” she tweeted.

Amanda, co-founder of Batika studio, finished at the 10th spot of the pageant while Philippine bet Rabiya Mateo finished at the top 21 of Miss Universe 2020.

The pageant’s coronation night is being held at the  Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
