A Twitter user shared that he encountered an extraordinary tricycle that offered free candies and free rides to select people in what could probably be Tayabas, Quezon province.
Aaron narrated that he and his companions were having a hard time hailing a tricycle when this one stopped by and offered them a ride.
To their surprise, inside the tricycle were free candies and a thought-provoking quote that was displayed directly across the passenger seat.
The quote is from American talk show host Oprah Winfrey, who said: “If you look at what you have in life, you’ll always have more. If you look at what you don’t have in life, you’ll never have enough.”
A bottle of mineral water was also found inside the tricycle, free for those who are thirsty.
In addition, the tricycle driver offers free rides to those whose birthdays fall on the day they hailed the public vehicle, women seven to nine months pregnant, people carrying electric bills, hospital patients, those wearing green slippers, those who have no teeth and people without a fare.
Aaron in a follow-up tweet noted that the tricycle driver was “accommodating” because he told them to get as many candies as they want. He also asked them if they fulfilled the requirements for a free ride.
The exact place of where Aaron and his companions encountered the generous and considerate tricycle driver is not known, although the tweet’s location stamp shows Tayabas, Quezon province.
The tricycle driver’s extraordinary gimmick was well admired by social media users who saw Aaron’s post.
I dunno but this made me cry. Kung sino pa talaga yung mga taong di mayayaman, sila pa yung mga totoong mapagbigay. God bless you and your fam, Kuya. 🙂

Aww! Mamang driver needs a boost. I’m sure everyone riding his tricycle steps out either smiling or suddenly having an epiphany. We need more people like him. Sana I am one ♥️

Usually, a commute in the Philippines is considered stressful because of the traffic, pollution and inconsiderate drivers who ply the road, among others.
