Meralco coach Norman Black drew the ire of Ginebra counterpart Tim Cone when he called a timeout in the dying seconds of the Bolts’ 94-81 Game Three victory in the Oppo PBA Governors’ Cup finals.

In the last 38 seconds of the game, Cone just stared at the Meralco bench. He also had some words with Black as he refused to shake hands after the game.

Black said Cone’s attitude pissed him off.

“I think everybody knows Tim is the winningest coach. I’ve never in my life told him how to coach his team. He didn’t shake my hand because he was mad at the last timeout. That’s his problem, not mine,” Black told sportswriters.

Cone immediately left the venue and refused to be interviewed.
