Memphis Grizzlies coach David Fizdale walked out of the post-game press conference as he blasted NBA officials following his team’s 96-82 loss in Game Two against the San Antonio Spurs.
Fizdale lamented how the Grizzlies got only a few free throws despite having more shots in the paint in contrast to the Spurs.
The rookie coach, who became increasingly unhappy as he spoke, ripped the referees for not giving his players the respect that “these guys deserve”. He ended his rant by saying, “Take that for data,” and walked out.
