A pro-Mocha Uson Facebook page shared a picture of an unfinished overpass and credited it to former President Noynoy Aquino but the image was originally taken in Thailand.
Facebook page “Mocha Uson Blog Supporters” shared the picture after Filipinos aired their complaints about the steep footbridge of the Metro Manila Development Authority near the MRT GMA-Kamuning Station.
The page posted a picture of an unfinished overpass and insinuated that Filipinos should recall other questionable infrastructure projects done during the previous administration.
However, some social media users were quick to point out that the picture was originally shared by a Facebook page of an online news website in Thailand.
The page, ThaiVisa — The Nation Thailand News, shared two versions of the picture.
The edited version was the one shared by the pro-Mocha Uson Facebook page. It featured Mario, a character from the platform video game “Super Mario Bros.”
The original picture was shared by ThaiVisa the day before they shared the edited version. It was credited to Ampon Poomsuwan.
There are no other information on the unfinished overpass, apart from that fact that it was built in Thailand.
