The Philippines’ foreign ministry said on Monday that there will be no prior notification from it to China for routine resupply missions to troops on a contested shoal in the South China Sea.

The ministry said a statement from China’s foreign ministry about prior notification for resupply missions was inaccurate, and added the Philippines would continue to assert its rights and jurisdiction in its maritime zones.
