MANILA — The Philippine government posted a 34.4 billion pesos ($621.95 million) budget deficit in October, the Bureau of the Treasury said on Wednesday.
The deficit was narrower than the previous month’s 250.9 billion pesos gap and brought the year-to-date budget deficit to 1.018 trillion pesos.
