The elegant Peninsula Manila may as well be your dating place for a night filled with only the best meals, pampering treats, and room promotions for your loved one.

On February 14, the five-star hotel has prepared tempting menus and treats in its various restaurant outlets. Ladies will receive a beautiful Peninsula long-stemmed red rose to take home with them.

At the iconic lobby, enjoy a classic Peninsula Afternoon Tea with delicate finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and French pastries and a steaming pot of tea. For that important dinner date, The Lobby will also have a three-course dinner menu. The afternoon tea set is Php1,650 per with a flute of Champagne and Php2,550 per person for the three-course dinner menu.

Over at Escolta, Chef Rufino Dungca’s buffet specials include an Ultimate Sunday Valentine’s Brunch (February 11) with free-flowing Champagne at Php4,300 per person. On February 14, Escolta serves its Valentine’s Day Seafood Dinner Buffet with free-flowing sparkling wines and beer at Php3,600 per person. All ladies dining in Escolta on these dates will receive a beautiful Peninsula long-stemmed red rose as a souvenir.

At Old Manila, Chef de Cuisine Allan Briones has prepared a four-course Valentine’s dinner menu that includes: Foie gras parfait with macerated berries, salted caramel, toasted oats, red wine gelée on a raisin baguette; Lobster bisque with coconut foam, kaffir lime and lobster bruschetta; Herb-crusted scallops with pumpkin gnocchi, cranberry, chanterelle and Champagne nage; Slow-roasted Wagyu beef tenderloin with celeriac purée, poached asparagus, ratte potato and truffle butter; and “Passion” (Araguani 72% chocolate and maracuja feuillantine). This special menu is priced at Php4,600 per person and includes a glass of champagne.

At Spices, couples may enjoy the exotic flavors of India, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam in an à la carte menu selection for a minimum consumable of Php1,200.

For the full-on romantic treat, from February 1 to 28, the hotel is also offering A Valentine to Remember room package.

Book an overnight and enjoy a Php3,000 dining credit at The Lobby, Spices, Escolta, the Pool Snack Bar or Old Manila or spend some romantic private time dining in-room (from February 14 to 16)

Included in the Valentine’s room package is a complimentary breakfast buffet for two adults and two children under 12, a bottle of wine, a special Valentine’s welcome amenity, complimentary parking, access to The Peninsula Fitness Center, unlimited local calls and complimentary internet access.

Room rates start at Php11,000 for a Superior Room. All prices quoted are inclusive of 10% service charge and prevailing government taxes.
