Three Miss Universe beauty queens had the rare opportunity to gather together outside of the famous pageant event and instaed, at a media conference organized by the Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT) office. On Wednesday, December 6, Iris Mittenaere, Miss Universe 2016; Dem-Leigh Nel-Peters Miss Universe 2017: and Pia Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2015 gamely posed before members of media after the press conference in Dusit Thani in Makati City.
The three ladies even posed for their own selfie shot, which elicited applause and excitement from those who got a glimpse of the unexpected moment.
The media conference announced the Miss Universe beauties’ itinerary for the next four days, which includes two fashion shows and a tour of select destinations in the country on Friday, December 8. DOT invited the women as part of its Bring Home a Friend campaign that encourages and gives incentives to tourists who return to the Philippines along with companions, such as their friends or family members, who are visiting the country for the first time.
