Sun, sea, sand, but of course, soul-satisfying meals are yours if you happen to be at Two Seasons Coron Bayside Hotel—Two Seasons Resorts’ newest property and the only five-star accommodation in the island.
The hotel group’s third property—after Two Seasons Boracay and Two Seasons Island Resort and Spa in Malaroyroy (also in Coron)—is getting rave reviews for its high-end facilities and spectacular view of the island.
But the property’s chefs also made sure that its cuisine gets equal notice by creating flavorful dishes generously created with premium and fresh ingredients.
At the hotel’s signature restaurant called Baya Resto Lounge, regular guests of Two Seasons in Boracay and Malaroyroy will be glad to know that it has the same menu as the properties’ BarLO and Sulu restaurants, respectively.
Baya offers the Two Seasons’ bestseller Four Cheese Pizza, a delicious medley of blue cheese, cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan layered on an Italian-style crust served straight from the oven.
Sisig, which has been getting global attention, is also on the menu. If Boracay’s barLO serves oyster sisig then Baya has its very own lengua sisig.
Not to be missed are its seafood fare, which includes Crispy Fried Squid Tentacles, classic Fish and Chips, and Spicy Garlic Prawns. And if guests want something with more heat, then they can get the Spicy Pugita, a native octopus that’s thinly sliced and cooked in coconut milk and spices. Lobster dishes, on the other hand, are cooked either steamed or grilled, or as Thermidor.
Also offered are comfort Filipino food like Sinampalukang Manok, Crispy Pata, and Lechon Kawali served with bagoong fried rice.
For the adventurous diners, Two Season’s crocodile meat dishes are also available. Savor menu items like Crocodile Barbecue, Crocodile in coconut milk, or Stir-fried Crocodile strips.
Just ask the front desk officer for guided tours within the island and they will gladly arrange a day trip for you and your companions to Culion, Kayangan Lake, Sangat Wreck, Siete Pecados, and Banol beach.
