Moto Z² Play finally lands in PH

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Two weeks after the big regional launch in Bangkok, Thailand, Motorola Philippines has officially launched locally the newest member of the moto Z family, the moto Z² Play.

As the mobile phone company, now owned by the Lenovo Mobile Business Group, continues to strengthen its position in the Philippine market, the announcement of the all-new mid-premium moto Z² Play completes the latest releases from Motorola which include the moto C, moto C Plus, moto E4, and moto E4 Plus.

The latest Z² Play, which is thinner, lighter, and faster, can also be used with moto Mods, may they be the latest models or from the previous generation.

“Motorola remains committed to delivering meaningful experiences through innovative mobile technology to consumers,” said John Rojo, country manager for Lenovo Mobile Business Group Philippines. “The moto Z² Play is a testament of our ‘Different is Better’ campaign.”

Moto Z² Play features a precision crafted, all-metal unibody design with a 5.5” full-HD Super AMOLED display. The processor is a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 626, and up to 24-hours of battery life. the moto Z² Play can also get up to seven hours of power in just 15 minutes of charging.

“We believe that the ultimate satisfaction we can give to our Filipino consumers is a transformative experience. Motorola is keen to improve the digital lives of more Filipinos through the latest innovations,” Rojo said.

The Moto Z² Play will be available in three exclusive Motorola outlets located in the CyberZone areas of SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall and SM North EDSA starting July 21 with an SRP of P24,999. The moto Z² Play will also be available in major Motorola retailers nationwide and via online shopping site Lazada.

Now, from July 21 to August 31, every purchase of the moto Z² Play will come bundled with an “Unlimited Possibilities” gift box full of useful smartphone accessories, which will include four freebies: the moto Style Shell Mod, protective metal bumper, selfie stick, and liquid nano-screen protector.
