The Oscar-winning film “Avatar: The Way of Water” is now showing in 3D across cinemas nationwide.

With 3D glasses on, fans can dive deeper into the breathtaking visuals and feel every awe-inspiring moment as the story unfolds.

After the sky people left Pandora, Jake Sully, Ney’tiri, and their kids have lived in peace along with their forest people.

However, the sky people returned with the desire to put an end to Jake’s life.

Jake and his family parted from their people and sought refuge in the homes of the Metkayina clan, or the reef people.

As they learn the way of life in their new home, Colonel Miles Quaritch and his team—now in Na’vi form—continue to hunt Jake and his family.

From heartwarming moments to jaw-dropping action, every scene engages viewers deeply, especially with the added depth from the 3D effects.

Take the battle between the Sky People and the Metkayina clan, for example. The intense combat feels so real, it’s as if you could be hit by a bullet or pierced by a spear.

Beyond the stunning visuals, fans can also connect with the Na’vi characters, especially the Sully kids, who speak and behave like today’s generation.

“Avatar: The Way of Water,” released in 2022, is the highly anticipated sequel to the groundbreaking science fiction film “Avatar,” which premiered 16 years ago.

The sequel earned over $2.3 billion worldwide, making it the third highest-grossing movie of all time.

It also took home the Best Visual Effects award at the 2023 Academy Awards and received nominations for Best Picture, Best Production Design, and Best Sound.

This marked the film’s second VFX Oscar, following the first movie’s win in 2010.

The film features the voices and performances of Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, and Kate Winslet, and was produced by James Cameron and Jon Landau.

The limited cinema screening started on October 1 and will run until October 7. Meanwhile, the 3D re-release began its one-week global run on October 3.

Fans can look forward to the third sequel, “Avatar: Fire and Ash,” scheduled for release this December.
