“‘2 Good 2 Be True’ may be over, but my love for this family is here to stay.”

Kathryn Bernardo expressed this in a heartfelt farewell letter she penned for her colleagues in the recently concluded Netflix show.

Netflix’s “2 Good 2 Be True” ran from May to November 2022. The finale episode premiered on November 11.

A week after it ended, Kathryn admitted in a letter that it took her a while to bid goodbye to the show and her fellow cast members.

She posted this letter on Instagram on Sunday, November 20.

“It took a while for me to do a farewell post, but here we go…How did I get so lucky to be able to work with such a loving cast? These people set the bar so high, which makes it harder for me to let go. But wait, who said anything about letting go?!” Kathryn said.

“Nope, no one is letting anyone go. ‘Too Good To Be True’ may be over, but my love for this family is here to stay. Doing a teleserye is never easy, but they all made it so freaking unforgettable,” she added.

Kathryn also accompanied her letter with her favorite photos of her uniforms as Nurse Allison Fajardo and Dr. Allison Fajardo, and a video montage of her favorite moments with her colleagues.

‘Roles turned to real emotions’

For the rest of her letter, Kathryn recalled her favorite moments with her co-stars while shooting episodes of the series.

She also bared how their work made her closer to the show’s assistant directors, their producer, their director, and the rest of the production team.

“My workmates became family. Fictional characters became a part of who we really are. Roles turned into real emotions. (I can keep going, pero baka maging nobela na to). So tell me, how do I forget these special people?!” the award-winning actress said.

Kathryn then expressed her deep gratitude to the production crew, her co-stars and the rest of the individuals whom she worked with throughout the run of “2 Good 2 Be True.”

She described her getting to know them deeply as a “bigger blessing” and their relationship as “too good to be true” in real life.

“Congratulations for a job well done. I think we did something good? Marami tayong taong napasaya. We were able to put real smiles on their faces. We were able to give them hope. Because of these, we were able to create a show that everyone will forever be proud of,” Kathryn said.

To end her letter, the 26-year-old celebrity expressed the following message to Ali, the fictional character she portrayed:

“Ali, you weren’t easy to portray, but I wouldn’t have done it any other way. You captured my heart entirely, and I ended up loving you even more. Thank you!”

Prior to this post, Kathryn also penned a heartfelt letter to veteran actor Ronaldo Valdez, her co-star in the series and whom she fondly called “Tito Ron.”

Ronaldo played Hugo Agcaoili or Lolo Sir, an elder billionaire who has Alzheimer’s disease and whom Ali had cared for.
