Claudine Barretto is once again in the news.
Just days after appealing to her fans to give ex-boyfriend Mark Anthony Fernandez “a second chance”, Claudine is the subject of a “tribute” campaign by Folded & Hung, the retail fashion brand she endorsed 14 years ago.
In 2004, Claudine was photographed for one of F&H’s most iconic advertising campaigns back when she was still dubbed as “The Optimum Star” and one of the most sought-after film and television stars of the new millennium.
Fast forward to 2018, the company decided to kick off its 20th anniversary this year with a new campaign that recalls Claudine’s successful ads.
In what seems like a changing of the guard or a passing of the baton, it’s now the turn of Nadine Lustre to wear the same Swarovski-adorned F&H logo shirt and white denim cut-offs.
“I wanted to recreate and pay homage to the amazing advertising campaign starring Claudine Barretto, but still keeping the personality of Nadine Lustre,” said Folded & Hung’s creative director Eldzs Mejia.
Like Claudine, Nadine is no stranger to making headlines. She topped FHM’s coveted 100 Sexiest Women last year. She also admitted to struggling with depression following the reported suicide of her younger brother last year.
Nadine, however, seems a lot happier as of late if her recent Instagram posts are any indication.
Last week, she posted two photos of herself wearing a white tank top and matching bikini panties taken at Eskaya Beach Resort in Bohol. The photos were intriguingly captioned, “Follow me, my darling I’m on the rise.”
Aside from the iconic Swarovski logo shirt, Folded & Hung put out a collection of logo t-shirts to represent the past, present, and future of the brand in celebration of their upcoming 20th anniversary. The new collection is available in F&H stores nationwide.
