Almost two years after they tied the knot, Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna welcomed their first child, a healthy baby girl on Monday morning.
This was announced by “Bossing” Vic himself during the “Juan for All, All for Juan” segment on his long-running noontime show, “Eat Bulaga.”
The baby girl is the 63-year-old comedian’s fifth child after Danica and Oyo Boy Sotto with ex-wife Dina Bonnevie; Vico Sotto with actress and former “Eat Bulaga” co-host Coney Reyes; and Paulina Sotto with former model and actress Angela Luz.
The baby, whose name was not yet known as of posting time, is the first for Luna, who will turn 29 on Friday.
“Ayun, pag-alis ko ng ospital, lumulundag pa rin (When I left the hospital, the baby is still bouncing),” Sotto told co-host Allan K. He promised that he will soon share photos of their baby on the show.
The “Eat Bulaga” Dabarkads particularly Vic’s bosom buddy Joey de Leon were naturally elated with the good news.

Vic and Pauleen, who are both hosts on “Eat Bulaga,” started dating in 2011 after starring together in the film “Enteng ng Ina Mo.” But it wasn’t until two years later that they confirmed their relationship.
The couple married in January 2016 after announcing their engagement in September 2015.
Luna posted on her Instagram page on October 28 that she would be taking a maternity leave from the show, but promised to return in 2018.
