With a crowd of mostly screaming young millennials, this year’s edition of “In The Mix” music festival lived up to all the pre-concert hype and then some.
Presented by Smart and made possible by MMI Live, the event held at the Mall of Asia Arena last Thursday featured a more diverse line-up of performers from the United States (Daya, Dua Lipa, DNCE), Northern Ireland (Two Door Cinema Club), Sweden (Zara Larsson) and Australia (5 Seconds of Summer).
Despite being held on a school night, the six-hour plus event still managed to draw throngs of mostly young girls who did not mind staying late as they anxiously await the headlining group, 5 Seconds of Summer.
The other attractions, particularly the alternative rock group from Ireland, Two Door Cinema Club, also kept the audience on their feet as seen in the highlights below.
