Canadian pop superstar Justin Bieber will land on Philippine shores for the third Asian go-round and final stop of his lengthy “Purpose World Tour.”

The 23-year-old singer-songwriter, best known for hits like “Baby,” “Never Say Never,” “Boyfriend,” “As Long as You Love Me,” “Beauty and a Beat,” “Where are U Now,” “What Do You Mean,” “Sorry,” and “Love Yourself,” will perform on September 30 at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.

Since becoming a global pop phenomenon at the age of 15, Bieber has sold over 100 million records, became the first artist to surpass 10 billion views on video-hosting service Vevo and has been listed by Forbes magazine as among the Top 10 most powerful celebrities in the world four times.

In the Philippines, Bieber has always enjoyed a solid fan base that was reinforced when he first performed here in 2011 as part of his “MyWorld Tour.” That Manila concert, held at the SM Mall of Asia Grounds, attracted over 13,000 fans, the second biggest attendance among his Asian stops then.

He did not perform in the Philippines during his succeeding “Believe” tour from 2012 to 2013, but he visited Tacloban City to offer his support and help raise funds for the survivors of destructive typhoon Haiyan also known as Yolanda.

Presented by Smart, promoted by MMI Live, and produced by AEG Presents, Bieber’s Manila concert is surprisingly affordable, at least compared to other recent big ticket acts like Madonna and Britney Spears. Upper box tickets are as low as P1,575 while VIP tickets will set back fans only P17,850.

Early this month prior to the announcement of Bieber’s Manila concert, fashion retail brand Oxygen launched its collection of Justin Bieber licensed merchandise in partnership with MCA Music and Bravado, the Manhattan-based music merchandise company.

Bieber items from Oxygen that fans can wear at his upcoming concert include caps, t-shirts, hoodies, jackets and pullovers.
