Even as she remained mum about the details of her “dream” Hollywood project, Kris Aquino gave another hint that it may well be Warner Bros.’ film adaptation of Kevin Kwan’s bestselling novel “Crazy Rich Asians.”

Two days after posting that she was off to Singapore to “fulfill a dream” and begin shooting for the said film, the actress and former presidential sister/daughter posted a photo of herself together with Taiwanese-American actress Constance Wu, who had already been announced as one of the lead stars of the “Crazy Rich Asians” movie.

In captioning the photo, Kris posted, “#fangirl moment. We’ve seen every episode of the 3 seasons of #freshofftheboat & so happy they’ve been renewed for Season 4! Thank You @wonstancecoo (Jessica Huang, the Mom of Eddie, Emery, and Evan & Louis’ wife) for being so gracious, I know how exhausted she was BUT she still made the effort to pleasantly converse w/ me.”

Wu is best known for her breakout role of Jessica Huang in the hit TV series, “Fresh Off The Boat.” In response to Kris’ post, the actress commented, “So great to meet you! See ya tomorrow.”

Giving credence to an earlier Inquirer report that she will be playing “an Asian princess of either Bruneian or Malaysian descent” in “Crazy Rich Asians,” Kris later posted this.

Good morning. Wear your crown with grace and dignity.
