“It’s Showtime” host and actress Anne Curtis left some Filipinos intrigued after she casually shared that she had gone to Singapore for a “checkup.”
The showbiz personality on Sunday, June 7, shared photos of herself shopping in the Lion City, particularly at a Chanel store.
“Chanel-maxxing because I work my a** off,” Anne wrote in an Instagram post with a laughing emoji.
“Disclaimer: was also here for a checkup, so, why not, right? Haaaaaaappy Sunday!” she added with the same emoji.
Anne also used the hashtag “#chanelmetiersdart,” which refers to the luxury brand’s annual Métiers d’Art collection that celebrates artisans and specialty workshops behind the intricate craftsmanship associated with luxury fashion.
While some praised Anne for enjoying the fruits of her hard work, others were curious about the “checkup” she mentioned.
“Check up… for her neck siguro?? Love her Chanel bag!!” an online user commented.
“‘Yung neck ata niya parang may bukol o lumalaki..” another wrote.
“Ang laki pa rin ng leeg niya,” a different Pinoy said.
“It’s for her neck, napansin ng netizens months ago. Sa super busy niya, natagalan ang check-up sa Singapore, sana she’s ok,” another wrote.
Last February, Anne thanked the online community but did not disclose further details.
Some social media users speculated that her post was related to a noticeable “bump” on her neck that had drawn attention online.
