Rising P-pop girl group VVINK kicked off its debut full album era with a heartfelt message about second chances in pursuing their dreams.
The 14-track record “It Starts With A Wink,” released under FlipMusic, includes the hyperpop-meets-budots song “Baduy” featuring DJ Love, as well as the title track “Pag-ibig Fun,” highlighting the album’s distinct and carefree spirit.
During the album launch at Robinsons Galleria on Thursday, May 28, VVINK’s main rapper Ayaka emphasized that “second chances” is the core message of the group.
“Lahat po kasi kami, second chance na po namin to pursue our passion. So, gusto po namin maalala kami ng tao as girls who stood up for second chances, ‘yung hindi sumuko sa mga pangarap naman,” Ayaka said.

VVINK’s “It Starts With A Wink,” inspired by the gesture used as a secret signal between people, highlights connection through unspoken understanding, along with experiences that shape young Filipino adulthood, framed with intention over “algorithmic moments.”
Led by FlipMusic’s Julius James “Bojam” de Belen (BINI’s “Talaarawan,” Sarah Geronimo’s “Tala” and “Ikot-Ikot,” and the “Diary ng Panget” original soundtrack), alongside hitmakers Nica Del Rosario (Sarah’s “Tala,” BINI’s “Na Na Na” and “Karera”), Myk Conchada (BINI’s “I Feel Good” and “Salamin, Salamin”), and VVINK’s Angelika (BINI’s “Pantropiko”), the album showcases a blend of experience and modern Filipino pop sensibilities.
