Host and celebrity mom Karla Estrada addressed comments about her supposed change in facial features after appearing on “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.”
Reports said the showbiz personality appeared in an emotional phone call with her daughter, Lella Ford, in an episode of the reality show, where the latter is a housemate.
During the segment, the two were shown side by side on screen as Karla reacted while speaking to her daughter..
The moment was posted by ABS-CBN on its Facebook page, garnering 67,500 likes and nearly 470 comments, with some viewers pointing out what they perceived as changes in Karla’s appearance.
“What happened to her face, I mean, kay Ms. Karla? Nag-iba, as in,” a Facebook user wrote.
“Same observation. Hindi ko siya nakilala kung walang name nakalagay,” another commented.
“Iba na mukha ni momshie Karla, hehe, mas maganda siya sa dati niya mukha, kala ko hindi siya ‘yan,” a different Pinoy said.
“Nag-iba ‘yung face [ni] momshie Karla, gawa yata sa teeth niya. May changes or dahil sa make up niya,” another commented.
Karla later saw the comments and addressed them in a Facebook reshare.
“Guys, ako pa rin ‘yan! Kaloka kayo! Ang ganda ng pwede nating matutunan para sa mga anak at sa mga nanay natin, focus tayo dun,” she wrote with a laughing emoji on Sunday, December 21.
“‘Wag ugaliin ang maghanap ng mali sa tao,” Karla added.
Karla also uploaded a Facebook Live on Tuesday, December 23, during which she spoke to her supporters.
