Singer Zack Tabudlo appeared to brush off online allegations about his smell during his performance at University of Santo Tomas Paskuhan last Friday, December 19, with a lighthearted social media post.
On Tuesday, December 23, Tabudlo shared a photo of himself being hugged by IV of Spades member Zild Benitez, an image many netizens interpreted as a subtle response to the claims.
The post drew playful reactions, with one user commenting, “Sila yung maacm,” while another joked, “Baka yung nagsabi gusto ka lang atang yakapin.”
The post came after remarks circulated online from some students who attended the event, alleging that the singer emitted a strong odor during the show.
“Tindi ng amoy niya, beh, nung nandoon kami,” one wrote, while another claimed the smell was noticeable even from the barricade area.

Others defended the singer on social media.
“Malamang pawis. Kung napaka arte aba’y ‘wag sa crowd,” an X user wrote.
“As someone who met him last le sserafim con, istg (I swear to God) napalingon ako kasi SOBRANG POGI ng amoy niya. I didn’t realize na nagkasalubong pala kami until I smelled him. Kitang-kita na hulas [siya] diyan sa pic and istg ang bango [niya]. ‘Yun lang naman,” another wrote.
“Nooo as someone na nakakuha ng denim jacket ni Zack pawisan pa yung collar nun. Super bango nya amoy jo malone english pear and freesia. Maybe dahil sa material ng shirt? pag napawisan namamaho?” one commented.
Others speculated that the post could be a “rage bait,” and some are just believing it.
