R&B singer Denise Julia received recognition from some international fans on X (formerly Twitter) for her single.
Online user and fan of the girl group Little Mix @lidolmix posted a video of Denise’s “Sugar n’ Spice” music video and wrote: “You guys I just heard something great…”
A little while after they posted on X, they said, “Just found out she’s Filipino omg we got BINI and then her.. The Filipinos are just doing it right idk (I don’t know).”

The fan’s post on X garnered more than 22,000 likes and 2,400 quotes and retweets.
Some Filipino X users remembered @lidolmix as the international fan who entered the BINI fandom in early March.
“Ikr (I know right), and here’s a cross-over,” one BLOOM wrote with a video of Denise and BINI member Mikha.
“BLOOMs” is the official name of BINI fans.

Others simply said they are discovering P-Pop or Philippine pop through these artists.
“Wait I might just fully dive into P-POP atp (at this point),” an online user quipped.
“We’re them. RINI, Beabadoobee, Grent Perez, Lyn Lapid and Olivia Rodrigo… The Filipino race is coming to take over the music industry,” an X user remarked.
“P-POP/OPM has a lot of hidden gems, man. You gotta dive in right now!” one fan account said.
“She will release something with Thuy from Vietnam who sang ‘Girls Like Me Don’t Cry’ soon,” another online user said, referring to Denise’s collab with Vietnamese-American R&B singer Thuy.
Thuy earlier teased a song collaboration with Denise. Their upcoming track entitled “Twin Flame” will be available on music streaming platforms on July 26.
