“Woman in Action” host Gretchen Ho finally felt an earthquake on Tuesday afternoon after previously posting about her inability to feel one.
The Kapatid host on December 2 wrote the following on her X (formerly Twitter) account: “First time to feel an earthquake.”
It was accompanied by a flushed face emoji.

Others shared that they also felt the tremblor in their respective areas.
“Hindi ko first time, pero eto ‘yung nagpanginig sa’kin, like, legit! Parang na-fe-feel ko pa rin!” a social media user commented.
“Keep safe po… malakas [din] dito sa Bulacan,” another Pinoy wrote.
“Ms. Gretch, dito sa Laguna, ramdam,” a different user commented.
Meanwhile, another user shared that earthquakes have become a “normal” occurrence in their place in Southern Philippines.
“Normal days here in Mindanao,” the user wrote.
The region has been suffering several strong earthquakes recently due to the movement of the Philippine trench.
These include the magnitude 6.7 earthquake near General Santos City last month, the magnitude 7.4 earthquake near Surigao del Sur last Saturday and the magnitude 6.6 earthquake, with the latter being an aftershock.

Last year, Gretchen posted about her inability to feel earthquakes.
“One of those who never feel earthquakes,” she wrote on Oct. 25, 2022.
On that day, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology recorded a magnitude 6.4 earthquake in Abra, which was felt as far as Metro Manila.
Last October, on Friday the 13th, Metro Manila residents also felt a magnitude 5.0 earthquake.
The National Capital Region felt another magnitude 6.3 earthquake in June this year.
Meanwhile, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology on Tuesday afternoon recorded a magnitude 5.9 earthquake with an epicenter near Lubang, Occidental Mindoro.
This was also felt by some Metro Manila residents and workers.
