Neri Naig Miranda has a lot on her plate — actress, mother, wife, entrepreneur. Now, she adds another title to her long list of achievements: an author.
Book publisher Penguin Random House SEA announced on Monday, October 30 the release of Neri’s book “Wais Na Misis: The Wisehomer.”
Quoting Neri, the announcement describes the book as the “dandy survival guide you’re looking for as you journey into the intimidating yet marvelous world of motherhood and entrepreneurship.
She adds that the book will offer “meaty tips and tricks that I have learned from the best mentor l’ve ever had – LIFE.”
The book was acquired by international book publisher Penguin Random House SEA earlier this year.
“I am excited sa book na to! Sinigurado ko talaga na lahat ng natutunan ko sa buhay, lahat ng pagkakamali at lessons after nun, iniligay ko sa boom. Para sa lahat ng makakabasa, may guide kayo kung ano ang dapat o maaaring gawin kapag nasa ganun kayong situation,” Neri said during the announcement of her book’s acquisition.
Neri, who is married to Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda, has marketed herself online as a “wais na misis” mompreneur, offering homemaking tips to followers. She and Chito also have several businesses.
She has also received backlash for some of her tips. Last month, Neri was accused of being out of touch after sharing on her social media page a weekly meal plan for an entire household for only P1,000. The actress-entrepreneur later explained that the meal plan is meant for families with “edible gardens,”
