Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray found herself on the trending list of local Twitter anew during the 71st edition of the beauty pageant.
The former Miss Universe titleholder, who is one of the pageant’s current backstage commentators, stole the spotlight when she wore a yellow gown while sharing the screen time with Emmy Award-winning host Zuri Hall.

“Catriona is so perfect for this,” Miss Universe Philippines top 16 finalist Ayn Bernos commented in response to Catriona’s hosting stint at the pageant.
“Dama ko sa mga susunod, Main Host na ‘yan, Ate Catriona #MissUniverse #MissUniversePhilippines,” MOR DJ JhaiHo tweeted.
“I effin loooove @catrionaelisa ‘s energy! Parang [nag-co-compete] pa rin sa MU! Mayghad, I live!!!” another online user commented.
Catriona previously said that she was “excited” to be one of the behind-the-scenes commentators of the pageant with Zuri.
“We’ll be your eyes and ears on all things pageant and performance!” the former Miss Universe titleholder said on Instagram last Saturday.

The coronation night is being hosted by Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo and American TV host Jeannie Mai Jenkins.
