Veteran actress Nora Aunor just launched Ate Guy‘s gourmet tinapa and tuyo which is similar to her adopted daughter and actress Matet De Leon‘s business.
Matet, the owner of Casita Estrada, then took to Instagram last Saturday to express her frustration over her mother’s launch of a similar business venture.
“Would you do this to your children? HONOR THY FATHER AND MOTHER. HOW? How can I do that now? Ay, AMPON PALA AKO,” she wrote in a post.
Ano magandang gawin? Kung may anak kayo, GAGAWIN NIYO BA SA MGA ANAK NIYO TO?” she added.
Matet also expressed her disappointment over his brother Kenneth’s statement asking her to just resell the product of their mother.
Mag-resell na lang daw ng products ni mommy at magtulungan kami,” she said in a YouTube live on Sunday, December 4.
Matet also revealed that her brother is part of the conceptualization of her mother’s business.
“I feel betrayed, para akong trinaydor.
While Matet referred to Nora as “mommy,” she bared in a live video that her grandmother is the one who really adopted her.
“Itong negosyong ‘to yung inaasahan namin ngayon,” she added.
Responding to a comment hoping she would reconcile with Nora, Matet burst into tears and said: “Parang hindi na po, kasi hindi ko alam kung paano mo yan magagawa sa anak mo.
Nakatali kami, wala kaming pwedeng gawin. Nakabusal kami, wala kaming pwedeng sabihin, she said.
Aside from Matet and Kenneth, Nora and Christopher de Leon’s adopted children are Lotlot and Kiko.
As of writing, Nora has yet to react to Matet’s sentiments.
Meanwhile, amid her frustration, Matet’s fans left her messages of support via the comments section of her YouTube live.
“We love you Matet! I hope to see your Estrada Gourmet Tinapa and Estrada Gourmet Tuyo here in the Filipino stores in New Jersey,” a YouTube user said.
“We support you po, Misis Matet! Thank you for being open about all of this, sana maintindihan ng lahat ang nararamdaman mo and I hope everything works out po,” another commented.
