Model-actress Dayanara Torres of Puerto Rico finally finds love in Marvel film producer Louis D’Esposito, who also paid tribute to the sudden death of comic book icon Stan Lee of Marvel.
Torres and D’Esposito kept their relationship private save for a very few photos on social media. Torres was the one who made the announcement on Instagram.
“He asked and I said yes!” part of the caption read.
Reports of their relationship only came about last October 3 when Torres posted a photo of them together with the hashtag #NationalBoyfriendDay.
Esposito is the co-president of Marvel Studios and executive producer of many of its blockbuster franchise such as the “Iron Man” trilogy, “The Avengers” movies, “Spider-Man:Homecoming” and the revolutionary “Black Panther.”
He doesn’t share much about his personal life on Twitter.
His recent post was his message to Lee, touted as a “legend” in the industry, as he mourned along with the many fans of the Marvel leader. Lee died at 95 years old.
Before Esposito, Torres’ first husband was American TV producer Marc Anthony. They were married from 2000 to 2004. It was rumored the reason for the split was pop singer Jennifer Lopez, whom Marc Anthony married shortly after.
Her stay in the Philippines
Torres considered the Philippines as her second home after her brief acting career here more than a decade ago.
Torres first arrived in the country when the annual Miss Universe beauty pageant was held in Pasay City in 1994. The Philippines representative that year was actress-model Charlene Gonzales.
Torres immediately became a celebrity in the Philippines after as she landed several roles in movies and shows during her five-year stay. She was one of the original hosts of Kapamilya’s “ASAP,” during which she was dubbed as the “Dancing Queen.”
She had a famous relationship with Filipino star Aga Muhlach, her co-star in the romantic flick “Basta’t Kasama Kita” in 1995.
She returned in February 2017 and stayed only for a few days during which she got to host Sunday variety show “ASAP” again.
