MANILA — The Philippine central bank said on Monday it expected annual inflation in December to be between 1.2% to 2.0%, compared with the previous month’s 1.5% rate.
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas cut its benchmark policy rate for the fifth straight meeting on December 11 to bolster growth and signalled its easing cycle was nearing an end.
