MANILA — The Philippines has reached out to the U.S. Trade Representative to explore potential trade negotiations, with the best outcome being a free-trade agreement, the Economic Affairs minister said on Thursday after Washington said it would pause planned tariffs.
“Let’s see what we can negotiate,” Frederick Go told a media briefing.
