MANILA — The Philippines‘ overall balance of payments (BOP) position in June was a deficit of $155 million, compared with a surplus of $2 billion in May, the central bank said on Friday.
For the first half of the year, the cumulative BOP was a surplus of $1.44 billion.
The central bank has forecast a $1.6 billion BOP surplus for 2024.
