Philippines cash remittances up 2.5% yr/yr in March

Cash remittances sent home by overseas Filipinos rose 2.5% from a year earlier to $2.74 billion in March, the Philippine central bank said on Wednesday.

For the first three months of 2024, cash remittances through banks increased 2.7% from a year earlier to $8.22 billion.
