 — The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a $450 million loan for the Philippines to fund its universal healthcare program, the multilateral lender said in a statement on Wednesday.

The loan will help “the Philippines strengthen health policy reforms and further improve Filipinos’ access to medicines and health services”, the ADB said.
