Philippines posts $3.5 billion trade deficit in September

 The Philippines posted a trade deficit PHTBAL=ECI of $3.5 billion for September, preliminary official data showed on Tuesday.

Imports PHIMP=ECI in September fell 14.7% to $10.2 billion from a year earlier, while exports PHEXP=ECIshrank 6.3% to $6.7 billion, the Philippine Statistics Authority said.
