Philippines posts $4.93 billion trade deficit for March

 The Philippines posted a trade deficit PHTBAL=ECI of $4.93 billion for March, preliminary official data showed on Tuesday.

Imports PHIMP=ECI in March fell 2.7% to $11.46 billion from a year earlier, while exports PHEXP=ECI declined 9.1% to $6.53 billion, the Philippine Statistics Authority said.
