Philippines remittances up 5.8% in December, rises 3.6% for 2022

Cash remittances rose 5.8% to $3.16 billion in December from a year ago, the Philippine central bank said on Wednesday.

For the entire 2022, cash remittances through banks increased 3.6% to $32.54 billion, it added.
