Philippines cash remittances up 3.5% y/y in October

 Cash remittances by overseas Filipinos rose 3.5% to $2.91 billion in October from a year ago, the Philippine central bank said on Thursday.

In January to October, cash remittances through banks increased 3.1% to $26.74 billion, it said in a statement.
