This December, Philippine yacht dealer Europa Yachts added the Lagoon 46 to its large fleet of luxury catamaran offerings.

The 46 is a first-rate offering from prestigious French brand Lagoon, which is currently the world leader in the building of catamaran cruisers. Designed by the naval architectural firm VPLP to mirror performance that’s worthy of multihull ocean racing, the 46 also boasts exterior design work from Patrick Le Quément and interiors by Nauta Design.

“The Lagoon 46 is a most welcome addition to Europa’s current lineup of yachts,” said Thomas Cachera, Europa Yachts managing director.

“This watercraft combines optimum performance features with design elements that will give passengers the ultimate liveaboard experience. Philippine yacht enthusiasts should be very excited that the 46 is ready to cruise through our waters,” Cachera added.

Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Makati City, Europa Yachts aims to bring the pleasures of European yachting to the Philippines. Other premium yacht brands that Europa sources to its local consumers are Azimut Yachts, Beneteau, Monte Carlo and CNB or Construction Navale Bordeaux.

Europa Yachts’ coverage of services includes the handling of each yacht’s pre-delivery aspects, fully registering and ensuring all new watercrafts, as well as aftersales support, such as overseeing equipment upgrades, supplying new parts and facilitating routine maintenance.

The company looks forward to walking its new buyers through the Lagoon 46’s unique features. This dual parallel-hull craft can carry a large payload without detriment to performance, all while sporting a gull wing bridge deck for extremely smooth, seaworthy riding.

On the sailing aspect, the 46 is noted among other models to be user-friendly and easy to handle, with all handling facilities grouped together and easy to reach. There is wide and ample space to operate the craft from its helming station, and its location at the centerline ensures that operators have 100-percent visibility and protection from the elements. The yacht captain and crew will have access to a large forward cockpit with 3 stowage lockers.

Passengers will love stepping aboard the 46, which is gorgeous to behold both inside and out. They may lounge around the cockpit and saloon, which affords a dining table, plush furnishings, and terrace-view seating for up to 12 guests. Passengers can also enjoy stepping upstairs to the cruiser’s flybridge, which boasts comfortable sun pads.

The boat’s design also seamlessly incorporates natural wind and light into its interiors. The “borderless” design and 360-degree view will make passengers feel at one with the elements, as well as pampered by easy access to all corners of the yacht. They will find all the comforts of home in the fully furnished galley with kitchen station and refrigerator, the modern-looking bathroom and the luxurious cabins that maximize comfort and space.

This cruising experience on the Lagoon 46 is now open to Philippine-based yachters. Europa Yachts promises that each journey on this catamaran model will be exceptional, and will be a wonderful way to experience the beauty of the country.
