JAKARTA — Highlights of day seven of the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang on Friday (times GMT):
China added two more gymnastics golds to take their tally to 18 medals in the event, before sharing swimming honors with Japan on the final night in the Jakarta pool.

Sun cruises to another freestyle gold
China’s three-times Olympic champion Sun Yang claimed a record-equalling 14th swimming medal at the Asian Games after winning the men’s 1500 meters freestyle final.
It was a fourth freestyle gold for Sun at the Jakarta Pool this week.
Koseki completes breaststroke treble
Japan’s Yasuhiro Koseki became the second man to win all three breaststroke events at a single Asian Games after cruising to 50 meters gold.
Ikee storms to record sixth gold
Japan’s Rikako Ikee became the first swimmer to win six gold medals at a single Asian Games with victory in the women’s 50 meters freestyle final.
Iran clinch kabaddi double
Iran won kabaddi gold medals in the men’s and women’s finals to end India’s dominant run in the event.
The men’s team put away defending champions India in the semi-finals before recording a convincing 26-16 victory over South Korea in the final.
The women’s team edged India 27-24 to avenge their 2014 Asiad final defeat by the twice champions.
Japan women claim fifth straight softball gold
Japan won their fifth consecutive Asian Games softball gold medal with a 7-0 mercy-rule win over Taiwan.
Jeong wins shooting gold
South Korean shooter Jeong You-jin won gold in the men’s 10m running target event. The veteran beat Pak Myong-won of North Korea 6-4 in the final.
Golden double for Lutsenko, Na
Kazakhstan cyclist Alexey Lutsenko won the men’s individual time trial gold medal to add to his road race win on Thursday.
Earlier South Korea’s Na Ah-reum matched Lutsenko’s feat by winning the women’s individual time trial. Na won the women’s road race on Wednesday.
Wang on target for China
China’s Wang Qian won gold in the women’s 10m air pistol with a score of 240.3 to set a Games record. South Korea’s Kim Min-jung won silver while India’s Heena Sidhu took bronze.
One-two for China in women’s singles tennis
Chinese tennis player Wang Qiang defended her singles gold medal, overcoming compatriot Zhang Shuai 6-3 6-2 in the final.
In the men’s doubles, India’s Rohan Bopanna and Divij Sharan beat Kazakhstan’s Aleksandr Bublik and Denis Yevseyev to give India a record-extending fifth Asiad Games gold.
Indonesia on course to meet gold medal target
Hosts Indonesia won their ninth gold medal of the Games to stay on track to reach their target of 16.
The men’s lightweight eight rowing team took gold ahead of Uzbekistan and Hong Kong.
South Korea make strong start
South Korea began the day with gold medals in rowing, cycling and shooting.
Park Hyun-su won the men’s lightweight single sculls rowing competition, while cyclist Na Ah-reum won her second straight Asian Games gold in the women’s individual time trial.
Choi Young-jeon won the men’s 300m standard rifle event.
