MANILA, Philippines — Philippine Airlines will begin flying between Davao and Siargao four times a week starting March 25.

Harry Inoferio, PAL senior vice president for Visayas and Mindanao Sales and Services, said diving and surfing enthusiasts and sea lovers can also take the airline’s Manila-Davao, Cebu-Davao, and Clark-Davao routes to enjoy Davao first before heading to Siargao.

An introductory fare of as low as PHP1,000-plus will be offered for round trip Davao-Siargao flights until April 15.

PAL said it would use its new Bombardier Q400 Next Generation aircraft for the new route.

Meanwhile, starting March 25, PAL will also offer daily flights between Davao and Tagbilaran from the current four times weekly offering.
