BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — Residents of and visitors to Baguio City would do well to make sure they have warm jackets and sweaters at hand or stay indoors Thursday night, January 11, when the temperature if forecast to drop to 12 degrees Celsius.
Weather site accuweather.com said Baguio’s temperature, 15 degrees at 7 a.m., would peak at 17-18 degrees by noon and return to 15-17 degrees in the afternoon before settling at 12 degrees overnight, enhanced by winds from the northeast.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said the northeast monsoon will bring cloudy skies with isolated rains to parts of the Cordillera and Cagayan Valley regions as well as Aurora province.
