MANILA, Philippines –U.S. President Donald Trump left the Philippines Tuesday afternoon for Washington D.C., ending his two-week tour of Asia.
Dan Scavino Jr., White House Director of Social Media and Assistant to the US President, posted on his Twitter account, a footage of Trump entering Air Force One at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Pasay City.
In his last tweets before leaving the country, Trump said his meeting with the world leaders at the regional gathering will lead to fair trade deals favorable to the United States.
“After my tour of Asia, all Countries dealing with us on TRADE know that the rules have changed. The United States has to be treated fairly and in a reciprocal fashion. The massive TRADE deficits must go down quickly!” he posted on Twitter.
Trump is the second leader to leave the country after Lao PDR Prime Minister Sisoulith Thoungloun departed from the Philippines Monday night.
