MANILA, Philippines — Scattered and at times heavy rains, caused by the tail-end of a cold front and the easterlies, might cause flooding and landslides along the eastern section of the country on Monday, November 6, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Administration said.
“Possible lightning, strong winds and scattered light to moderate with at times heavy rains” are forecast in the Cagayan Valley, Bicol, Eastern Visayas, Caraga and Davao regions, as well as Aurora and Quezon provinces, Pagasa said.
Localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers, which could be accompanied by lightning, strong winds and occasional heavy rains, to Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
The northeast monsoon or “amihan” continues to affect the rest of northern Luzon.
