BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — Police arrested a 35-year old woman and rescued six minors, including the suspect’s children and niece, who she had allegedly been peddling to online customers from her cybersex den in Bacolod City.

The raid in Barangay 26 Thursday night was mounted after a week’s surveillance on the operation, Senior Inspector Lawrence Ibo of the Cebu-based Women and Children Protection Center-Visayas Field Unit said.

The operation was conducted with the city social services department, the Women and Children Protection Desks of the Bacolod and Region 18 police, the Regional Special Operations Group, Department of Social Welfare and Development-Negros Island Region, Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking, and International Justice Mission.

Ibo said the raiding team caught the woman offering to have her five-year old daughter perform sexual acts to a customer. She also has a two-year old son.

Aside from the suspect’s children, there were four other girls — three neighbors aged 5, 14 and 16 — and a 17-year old niece.

Another niece, aged 22, was also present during the raid.

Ibo said they are trying to locate other children the suspect featured in live shows streamed to mostly foreign customers who would pay from P1,000 to P25,000.

In May this year, four female minors were rescued and three women arrested for running cybersex operations in two Bacolod barangays.
