BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — A couple who own a phone repair shop in Bacolod City and their employee were arrested by police late Monday afternoon after they sold crystal meth or “shabu” to an undercover officer.

The City Drug Enforcement Unit led by Inspector Adrian James Albaytar also seized an estimated P1.05 million worth of the drug from Rashed Tantua, 24, and Nelrose Salita, 24, who own the 2K Cell Shop at the Libertad market.

Also nabbed was their 19-year old worker, who police did not name.

Albaytar said the three, who were in the CDEU watch-list as street level pushers, were identified during the interrogation of other arrested suspects.
