MANILA – Cloudy skies with light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms will be experienced over Cagayan Valley, Bicol, Western Visayas, Caraga and Northern Mindanao regions as well as Aurora, Quezon and Palawan provinces, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 24-hour forecast released late Saturday afternoon (July 1).
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, PAGASA also said.
“At 3 p.m. today, the low-pressure area was estimated based on all available data at 1,050 km east of Casiguran, Aurora,” PAGASA said in its forecast.
PAGASA said light to moderate winds “coming from the northeast to north will prevail over northern and central Luzon and coming from the southwest to west over rest of the country.”
Coastal waters nationwide will be slight to moderate, PAGASA added.
