MANILA, Philippines — A graduate of the West Visayas State University in Iloilo City topped the 2017 Nurse Licensure Examination, which 3,882 of 11,176 examinees, or 34.7 percent, passed.
Mary Angelie Cabañez got a score of 86.20 percent.
The state university was also the second top performing school, with 125 of 126 examinees, or 99.21 percent, passing, close behind Xavier University’s 60 out of 60, or 100 percent.
The Board of Nursing, which administers the licensure exam, said the new nurses may go to www.prc.gov.ph from July 3 to July 12 for their initial registration.
