MANILA, Philippines — The National Bureau of Investigation recaptured a Korean-American drug suspect who escaped from police custody in April.

NBI-Task Force Against Illegal Drugs head Jonathan Galicia said Jun No was tracked down and arrested in a computer shop in Barangay Tetuan, Zamboanga City on Thursday before he could flee the country through the southern backdoor.

Galicia said No was supposed to board a boat for Sandakan, Malaysia. He arrived in Zamboanga City from Cebu on May 31 using a fake passport in the name of Choi Minsoo.

Aside from the drug case he is facing over the sale of ecstasy tablets, No will also be charged for violating Article 172 in relation to Article 171 of the Revised Penal Code, the Anti-Alias Law, and the Passport Law.
