BIÑAN CITY, Laguna — Fire razed at least 50 houses along Florante Street in Barangay Poblacion, Biñan City shortly before noon on Tuesday.
“Initially, based on the BFP (Bureau of Fire Protection) report, at least 50 houses were burned and the affected residents are now temporarily housed in our covered court in Poblacion,” Mayor Arman Dilmaguila said.
The fire reached the fifth alarm and left three persons with minor injuries.
Dimaguila immediately ordered the distribution of food, clothes and financial assistance to the victims.
The BFP is still investigating the cause of the blaze.
