CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police arrested five alleged street pushers, including a minor, and seized P1.4 million worth of marijuana during a buy-bust in Sta. Maria town, Bulacan on Monday.

Eurice Tiqui, 20,alias RR, John Peter Pineda, 20, Jeffrey Ponce, 18, John Laurence Garcia, 18, and the minor were identified by residents of Barangay Guyong as distributors of marijuana in their community.

Local police mounted the buy-bust at the suspects’ hideout on Celeste Street Monday afternoon and seized 14 kilos in half a sack, four large packs and one tea-bag of shredded leaves.

Police said marijuana usually comes from the Cordillera region and are transported in buses that travel from Baguio City to Central Luzon and Metro Manila.
